Super luxury

We were able to stay here for a nice price. What a luxury! Rooms overlook the Rhine. Furniture is beautiful. Small body lotion etc in the room we even got a bathrobe for our two little ones!
I thought it was fantastic to see the hotel with ql the splendor. Great experience!

Wonderful well worth going to this lovely hotel

Beautiful .hotel in a a loverly setting *excellent rooms very helpful staff .good food came on a Yorkshire rose tour good company spent time in the sitting area at hotel at the side of the Rhine was spectacular would go again M gomersall and Doreen BURROWS

Great hotel in a lovely location

We had previously stayed several times in the hotel's apartments a few metres along the road, but this time we decided to try staying in the hotel in a deluxe room with Rhine view. Room was large. Although the balcony was small, two of us fitted on it. Breakfast is excellent with a cook continually providing fresh eggs and breakfast on until 10.30am. Car parking is in a close by private garage with large spaces which is nice. Location is great right on the river Rhine. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly.

Absolute recommendation

Very nice hotel in Art Nouveau style.
We had one of the most beautiful Christmases. Fantastic, delicious and very nicely arranged food of the best quality. The hotel offers a lot and has a central location directly on the Rhine and close to the city.

Very nice property and staff at reception and housekeeping is very friendly. Staff provided a wheelchair (post surgery) and the property was easy enough to navigate. The only downside, I am sorry to say, is the breakfast. On a Saturday morning it was chaotic with everything from bread to cold cuts and plain cheeses being gone. You had to ask for coffee mugs. Got one. Had to ask for a second. Had to ask for coffee again. Had to ask for knives (which were not available anywhere). After 20 min bread and cold cuts were refilled - slowly and droves of people emptied everything right away. We skipped dinner in the restaurant after that experience. With limited mobility we went back for the Sunday breakfast. That was better but it was still difficult to get coffee and I could not get someone to bring more coffee later. I had the impression that the staff was overwhelmed and stressed. Perhaps staff shortages or a lot of new hires. With a Michelin restaurant on site I would have expected better breakfast management and staff training. I personally would not return but under different circumstances other guests may have an excellent experience.
Make sure to reserve a spot in the spacious hotel garage around the corner. Without that parking can be a challenge.
