Great food experience

Great food experience, exquisite composition of taste of my choice. Varied menu, great views and good atmosphere on the brewery edge. This place you can visit both for everyday and for party. Relaxed atmosphere and summer idyll at sunset while the boats enter the harbour.

Informed Kayak rental in August was ok - Hotel was shut down for å TV show...

Had emailed owner Henry Hansen of the hotel about renting kayaks for our trip there in August. When we got there, the entire hotel was shut down to film a TV show, that the owner must have know about for months in advanced, and yet confirmed the kayak rental during august - which we now didn't get - and so our vacation high light was destroyed. Called the owner to see if we could sort something out but got a "too bad" over the phone as a response.
Wonderful locals turned the situation around and saved the day by letting us rent kayak + equipment for free.
Will not trust any appointments or written agreements with this place again.

Broken room

The very place Kjerringøy is worth a visit - if the weather is great! The food at the hotel is delicious! The food is absolutely delicious! Unfortunately the rooms themselves are broken. No window (!!!) in the bedrooms. The bathroom is very tight and difficult to use (even for me who is small and slim). Do not want to stay at the hotel again, but can gladly buy food there

Magical, albeit slightly “rushy”

This place is magical! The location could not be better. We rented an apartment for one night and would only give feedback that the cleanliness could have been better. If you lost a piece of clothing on the floor of one of the bedrooms it was hot grey and the kitchen was sticky and there was left food on the bench. The restaurant, however, was very good!
