South African Retreat

This hotel is wonderful. I stayed here for two nights prior to traveling on Rovos Rail to Victoria Falls. I arrived on an overnight flight, and even though it was 9 a.m. hotel time, they gave me access to my room so I could sleep! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are luxurious. The staff is attentive and incredibly kind. Also, you must eat here! The food is all made on-site - even the bread and butter! - and is delicious. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Wonderful Weekend Away

We wanted a quiet weekend out of JHB and someone recommended Ivory Manor and a great recommendation it was
The service, accommodation, attention to detail and willingness of Jan and his team to help made it a pleasure.
The food was delicious and an absolute treat.
They had 6 different functions // events over 2 days and they handled all of them with ease without forgetting about there in house couple.
Well done - look forward to returning

Lovely Boutique Hotel in Pretoria

We stopped here overnight before joining the Rovos Rail train. We could not fault hotel, it is lovely and the food is outstanding. The staff were all very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. We would happily stay here again if we returned to Pretoria. We can highly recommend it.

Really nice little hotel

This beautiful spot was really a surprise. A small hotel but so definitely to UG. There were only 9 rooms, but which. We stayed in No. 2, a very large room as well as bathroom. Everything was embarrassingly clean. Yeah, there was nothing missing.
When both food and service are at the top, you can’t demand more.

Charming Gem

The Blue Train put us up here the night before our train trip. The hotel is intimate, charming and quite lovely. There is some quite exceptional art on display. The staff were super attentive. It was a beautiful start to our South African vacation.
