Good, but...
The service is good but a bit grim at the reception (We 1-2.2.).
Problems:
1. too few resting places in the spa area. Our loungers were literally cleared and we had to go to the room in part to rest from the sauna.
2. At night, the employees go to the yard to smoke and chat so loudly that no real night's sleep is guaranteed. We had to ask for peace out the window every night.

Cons: poor service at the hotel's restaurants. Our room was very basic-looking.

only book directly
We arrived two hours before check-in and wanted to spend the wait at the spa, which we do regularly on short trips. However, we were told that we would have to pay extra for these two hours as we had not booked directly with the hotel. During our stay we were told several times that this would not have been a problem if we had booked directly. It almost felt like they were punishing us for Booking Referral through Hotels.com, which makes me wonder why they even list their hotel there.
Another problem arose when we rented bicycles. An employee initially told us that use was free, so we took a short bike ride. When we returned, however, another employee informed us that the bikes were only free for direct bookings. We were charged 60 euros for two bikes for about two hours. After explaining the situation, we were able to negotiate the price down to 30 euros, but it was still an unpleasant surprise. We would not have taken the bikes if we had been informed about the cost, especially as we were misinformed by their own staff.
Positive to mention is that the spa staff was very friendly and breakfast delicious, even if the restaurant was quite crowded. We had to ask for coffee three times, but that seemed to be due to staff overload rather than a lack of service.
Overall, our stay was fine, but the constant references to our booking method and the unexpected costs left a bitter taste. If you plan to stay here, I would strongly recommend booking directly with the hotel to avoid the problems we had.
