Comfortabel en gunstig gelegen appartementen

In juli 2021 verbleven wij (ouders met een volwassen zoon) 5 dagen in twee comfortabele en compleet ingerichte appartementen van het gunstig gelegen MaXhof Trier. Eigenaresse Sabine is bijzonder vriendelijk en geïnteresseerd. Vooraf hadden we al goede recensies over MaXhof Trier gelezen en we kunnen deze alleen maar bevestigen. Ook qua hygiëne en genomen Corona-maatregelen was het bijzonder goed. Wat ons betreft een echte aanrader en we zullen zeker terugkeren.
Overigens een praktische noot: de eigenaresse vertelde ons dat ze volgend jaar twee oplaadpunten laat installeren. Nu waren wij nog aangewezen voor het opladen van onze elektrische auto op laadpalen in Schweich (ca. 6 km. - 11 - 22 kW) of Trier (ca. 12 km. - 22 - 50 kW).

Studio Maxhof 1e etage

We have started from all positive reviews and just returned from our stay in studio Maxhof on the 1st floor. The photos do not clearly show what the layout is. Downstairs you can eat, relax and shower via a steel staircase to the upper attic with sloping roofs where a box spring is located. This is not suitable for disabled people, even if you have to urinate often. Upstairs it is hot, there is no air conditioning and the fan makes even more noise than the freight trains at night. Fortunately, you get used to the trains after a few nights and it cooled down with us. The bed is good, there is just no coziness, no painting or cozy night light. Everything is white, grey, black and bare. But that is personal, I think we are spoiled by the nice addresses we come to in Germany.
This apartment is soberly furnished. The kitchen and bathroom have no ventilation but a window that opens. If you want to cook for yourself, bring a frying pan, baking dish and pot holder from home. Bathroom is neat and the shower is lovely! Otherwise, it looks very neat outside. Owners are very friendly, Sabine is beekeeper and makes her own honey. Her tip to eat at Zur Kanzel was great! This is highly recommended! Careful with Pizzaria Adria, we've been pretty sick of that. Charging point for the car was not there but you can charge at supermarkets etc. There are 5 minutes away all kinds of shops such as DM. In Luxembourg you can take public transport free of charge so Luxembourg city really recommended, even more beautiful than Trier. We parked just across the border in Luxembourg and took the train from there. There were also people coming on the train with bicycles.
The walks wolf gorge in Berdorp and devil gorge on the German side are really special.
The beauty of the Maxhof location is that you can go anywhere within a short time.

Convenient location at the reasonable price

It is a conveniently located good property. Though, the plan of the unit we stayed in could be a bit better. Good point - parking. One more thing that surprised - a requirement to pay 50 Euro cash deposit, though the room was fully paid.

Lekker langs de Moezel. Betreft een appartement

Geweldige locatie in een wijk van de stad Trier. Trier is per fiets te bereiken circa 45 min fietsen langs de Moesel en met de trein nig geen 15 min. Het treinstation is nog geen 5 min lopend verwijderd van het appartementcomplex. De ligging is daarom geweldig, maar ook de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren is ook geweldig. Verder ziin de appartementen ruim en schoon.
