A good family place

A beautiful and perfect place to go as a family, very warm and comfortable, with a view of the Argentine lake beautiful at sunset and sunrise, the staff's attention is excellent and the breakfast they serve is very rich. There's somewhere to park the car.

I want to begin by saying the 3 people working the front desk during our three-night stay were awesome!
All three were courteous, professional and very helpful. As for the room, it was average. The bed was just okay but the bathroom and shower were good. But there was no A/C and it apparently could not be fixed while we were there which was disappointing. The breakfast buffet was just okay--nothing special. I could not get the room safe to work properly. For the money i paid for the room, i was expecting it to be more comfortable. Location of the hotel was good as it was just minutes from the town center.

Dirty hotel with no wifi or service

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and I travel alot. It is a filthy hotel, mold and dirt in the bathroom, no towel for the bathroom floor, no wifi that works in the rooms, no airconditioning, only one soap and one toiletroll in the rooms. No change of the wornout towels even in they are soakingwet since the shower is spilling out water into the hall. The worst thing is that when we arrived to check in in our prepaid and confirmed room they told us that they did not have any room. We had to wait one hour and by the help of our travel agency we got our prepaid room. (!!) A steep stony and muddy road leads up to the hotel. O ly one thing is good: the view is magic.

Nice hotel with good staff

The hotel is very comfortable and beautiful! The room is quite spacious, there is heater including in the bathroom, the view to the Argentine lake is very beautiful. We were treated by Diego who was very helpful, polite and kind as well as the other staff. The breakfast has plenty of candy and fruit options, and the employee prepares an omelet or a pancakes if desired. We really liked it!

A hotel with wonderful views

The hotel has a wonderful view, it is a little far from the center of El Calafate, however, it wasn't something that bothered me, I walked back and forth every time I needed to go to the center. The taxi cost around 6,000 ARS round trip.
Breakfast starts at 6:15 am, but there are only staff from 7 am, I only discovered that it was possible to have scrambled eggs on the day I didn't go on a trip and was able to have breakfast later. Transfers for tours and in/out of the airport leave at the hotel entrance, so I had no problem getting the van up the street to the hotel.
