We recommend lodging at this property. It is a very conveniently located and effectively appointed apartment with functional amenities in its bedroom, and bathroom. It also offers secure covered parking and free wi-fi.. Its front desk is friendly and attentive. If we visit San Luis again, we'll certainly lodge again at this property.

A value for money budget hotel

We stayed only one night on the way from Cordoba to Mendoza. Though this budget hotel has average to fair reviews, we found it a good budget choice in spite of very average breakfast. We drove and so it was good that the hotel has private covered car park and found it fairly close to city centre. Staff were efficient. Though our room and furniture were running down, the bathroom was clean. The biggest problem was aircon in bedroom. Its fan could not be adjusted but the wind was strong and blowing straight to our head as it was placed right next to the head side of bed. We must place a pillow in between or we would be sick.

loud music night and day

I cannot believe that this hotel can be allowed to operate like this. No, it's not a 5 star hotel so you get what you see; small rooms, not frills, worn furniture and bedding, but it's clean and the bathrooms are modern and there is a nice little pool in back. We knew we weren't staying in the nicest place in town, but we were ok with that. We're sort of not really into frills anyway. But everything changed when we were abruptly awakened at 8am, after 24 hours of traveling, to the LOUD sounds of dance club techno music!!! for those of you who didn't bother to translate the other reviews before making a reservation "fuertes sonidos de club de baile de música tecno". After searching for the source for 20 minutes we discovered it was coming from a makeshift spin-class-zumba-type-workout gym located next the lobby, directly below our window. We tried taking to the guy at the front desk, but all he could say was it would be over soon. He couldn't even tell us that it wouldn't happen again. In fact, there was a schedule that showed a list of classes scattered throughout the week kind of all day long. They offered us nothing to compensate us at all. Since we were in town during the summer for a big event they told us the hotel was full so they couldn't even move us to another less noisy room. We were stuck with it for an entire week. Scratchy towels, whatever. Bad breakfast? Eat elsewhere, Argentina doesn't even really do breakfast anyway. No LCD tv? Go swimming instead. But the one major function of a hotel is that it is for sleeping and there is no way, I don't care how soundly you sleep, no one could sleep through that. I could hear it through my earplugs! Also, as I write this I'm pretty sure someone is smoking a cigarette at the end of my bed. Unless you have no interest in sleeping or peace and quiet DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Never again!

We spent one night here on our way from Buenos Aires to Mendoza and I would not step foot into the Huarpes Hotel again! The place is worn down, the rooms are not cleaned properly and breakfast is poor. The hotel has seen better days, WIFI is only available in the reception area. The worst of our stay was the artificial ventilation, which was so loud we couldn't sleep at all. After putting it off the guy at the reception turned it on again in the middle of the night (around 4:30 a.m.), so no sleep again! The staff was helpful, if not friendly.

Le sobran estrellas, le daria 1 sola

Muy malas atención.
Pésima desayuno.
NO FUNCIONA INTERNET.
