Hotel was amazing, the view was spectacular!!
The room itself though had a few items that needed fixing like the sliding door to the main room was broken, the sliding door to the lounge was extremely difficult to slide and the ensuite was very rough and had broken splatter rail and tiles throughout tho none of this spoilt the stay it would just be nice of the owners fixed this as they are renting a penthouse so it needs to be penthouse standard.

The Apartment was in a good location directly opposite the Boat Club where you could have meals or drinks. A lot of Tours left from this area as well. It was a great apartment, three bedroom with ensuite and a large deck with concertina doors. The living area was huge, a great place to stay. It does need a little maintenance mainly painting but we could see that the deck ceiling was recently replaced with new LED lights, not painted yet. So I assume they are trying to paint it and upgrade the lighting soon. We would definitely stay there again, good position, nice pool, great room.

Located in the closest town on Fraser Island, the hotel is part of a family-run Airbnb. The kitchen in the room is large, suitable for large families. Crossing the road from the B&B is the Fisherman’s Wharf Seafood Wholesale Market. It’s very convenient to buy it and make it yourself. B&B facilities are not as good as hotel resorts, the swimming pool is small, the service is mediocre, there is no 24-hour front desk, early check-in and late check-out are not allowed, because it is a family business, there is no time to clean and organize the room. If you don't mind these, it is still a good local accommodation option with good cost performance.

Amazing spacious rooms with super sized balcony and ability to slide back all the doors. Quality fittings with full sized washing machine and dryer. Kitchen well equipped.

The hotel advertised a heated pool. The pool was absolutely freezing! Kids wouldn’t even go in the pool and it was the end of September. We found lolly wrappers under the bed. The main part of the esplanade wasn’t within walking distance (for a young family) and most restaurants closed super early, 8pm at the latest, some even 1pm. Rooms were modern and spacious with a nice view.
