unforgettablely beautiful!

We, six friends, set out on the journey to the Lungau and were welcomed there with a lot of love and warmth. After three unforgettable days we drove home happy and with another booking in our luggage.
Everything was perfect – from A to Z! The spa was a dream, the pub cozy, the food delicious and the whole team

Beautiful!

Every year, the Gambswirt can be described in one word: a DREAM!
We love everything about this hotel and look forward to coming back to you in February!
During our stay we had the opportunity to get to know the friendly team – from the reception to the caretaker – and here again we can only find the words warm and friendly!

Possibly the best hotel I’ve stayed at, when you combine everything. Price - for a newly refurbished hotel, with lots of extras and great service - is very good and fair. The team running it - all were “on it” and very quick to serve and keen to please. Food - the breakfast was comprehensive and tasty. The supper spot on - and priced reasonably. Quick as well - even when very busy. Only niggle was the rooms were warm but we worked out how to properly air them and it cooled a little. Thank you. I hope we can return.

We will be back!!

Vacation as soon as you enter the hotel. Everyone is super friendly and you feel more than welcome. I would definitely recommend it.
Great wellness areas with something for every taste.
Rooms very spacious with a great balcony and great view of the mountains. Food absolutely bombastic. Everyone spoils you.
We'll definitely be back cycling in the summer!

Lovely ambience

Beautiful traditional Austrian restaurant and hotel. Friendly staff, medium price point for Austria. Nicely decorated, clean.
The evening menu has a good selection. Try the beef tarta, fish starter, the Kasnudeln, Schnitzel, Ice cream selection, Schokokuchen and Topfenstrudel. Very good.
