Dover Beach hotel is a very adequate mid range choice. The rooms are large and cleaned to a high standard and the facilities are in keeping with a mid sized hotel. We found the reception staff in the main personable and friendly. Location for Lawrence Gap and the airport is good but a car is advisable if you want to visit the West side of the island..
All things considered we enjoyed our short stay at this hotel.

The hotel needs an update. It was a little run down. The staff were very serious, a little standoff-ish. It was just ok.

The location is great and service from the staff is great.
Restaurant is perfectly fine and have a great breakfast.
But the walls are paper-thin between the rooms.
I heard the people in the room next to mine coughing and snoring all night long.
As well as conversation carried right through the walls.
It was the only issue.

I liked this hotel, while a little outdated in a few places and a few odd jobs around the main pool needed. it was value for money and never overcrowded and you could relax by the sea or pool.

The highlight was definitely that this hotel is right on the water. The restaurant overlooks the ocean, and there is direct access to the beach with lounge chairs for hotel guests. It’s a quiet, lovely beach and a huge plus. The room itself was nice, though not super updated, but still comfortable.
