Worth a visit and best recommendations from a satisfied pass from Rødby
We arrive and are greeted by very service minded and smiling staff who quickly sign us in and hand over our key to the room.
The room is nice and clean but you can tell it hasn't been updated recently but this doesn't matter to my wife and I and the beds are hard to judge as this is up to individual preference where I personally could use a bed that was a little harder, but clean and comfortable bedding.
the TV in the room could well use an upgrade, as there were pixel errors (lines) in a few places in the screen, but that is also the only reason why they don't get one last star, but again, that's taste and please.
The dinner was exquisite and nicely presented, we were served rib-eye which was cooked to perfection according to our taste buds, and perfectly tender, and can only comment on the dessert which was their chocolate truffle which was again absolutely perfect.
we were served by a neat and friendly young man who showed joy in his work and his customers and you felt safe in his knowledgeable hands.
the inn is located in the small town of Gerlev only 5 km from Frederikssund and in scenic surroundings with peace and quiet from traffic in the evening.
We can only highly recommend this place to others and we will definitely come back when the opportunity presents itself.
