Family friendly budget accommodation

Stayed here for 2 nights in July with my 2 children. We had a 3 bedded room, with a shared bathroom. For shared facilities it was exceptionally clean which was nice to see. Beds in our room we’re comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast is served in a restaurant 0.5 miles away which is a 2 minute drive. Breakfast was lovely as was the lady serving it. It cost 7 euros and you got plenty of choice , children were 1/2 price. The area is lovely and lots of hiking / running available right from the door. The gentleman owner was friendly and welcoming. I would return again if in the area. There is also a restaurant right across the road too. Nice budget accommodation.

Bed bugs!

We arrived at night and room seemed ok to begin with but in the morning, noticed lots of dirt / dust under the bed. Bathroom quite grubby / mouldy. No soap, kettle but no cups.
We were badly bitten by bed bugs! Owner was aware of the problem but still renting out the room.

Not recommended

We arrived at the guesthouse at 10pm. It was below zero outside. The heating in the room was off, there was dust everywhere and the sheets were wrinkled, it didn't feel clean and there was a super loud party downstairs (we hadn't been told)... we went home!

EXCELLENT

We stayed here in room 8 and 9 for 2 nights the owner was very nice he welcomed us he was pleasant and helpful the room was clean breakfast was 600 mtres away it was good no complaints everything was fine enjoyed our stay.
