Amazing stay
The hotel was exceptional, with clean rooms and neatly made beds every day, and the entire complex was spotless. The location was also perfect, in a very quiet area with little traffic and a peaceful atmosphere at all times. It’s not right in the middle of the crowded areas like La Rambla or Sagrada Familia, but also not too far, offering the ideal distance from the city's busy atmosphere. While it's a bit away from the sea, getting there is easy with the bus, metro, or tram. The staff was very kind and helpful, always ensuring a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a fantastic choice, with an excellent quality-price ratio, making it the perfect option whether you're traveling for business, leisure, or a family getaway.

VERY BAD
Educational trip fifth grades.
Bad in everything; partially renovated structure with a few rooms well put while for the most part old and very spartan.
Little attention on food intolerances (very serious thing), really poor food but especially breakfast where the time of consumption was from 7:45 to 8:15.
Staff arrogant and unhelpful towards guests.
To top it off, they withheld 50% of the bail from all the kids for no good reason.
I would not recommend this hotel.

La ringraziamo per il tempo dedicato a condividere la sua esperienza. In ogni momento abbiamo tenuto conto di tutte le intolleranze alimentari, preparando piatti diversi per gli studenti del gruppo che ne avevano bisogno. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, vengono assegnati orari ai gruppi numerosi poiché la sala da pranzo ha una capacità limitata, garantendo così che i clienti abbiano un posto e ricevano il miglior servizio. Purtroppo, il gruppo non ha rispettato gli orari in nessuno dei quattro giorni, e nonostante ciò ci siamo adattati per offrire la colazione. Ci siamo anche adattati con l'orario delle cene, che non sono stati rispettati nonostante fossero stati confermati per iscritto settimane prima.
Mi sorprende personalmente l'opinione sul personale, poiché dopo averli avvisati molte volte in modo molto educato, non ci hanno aiutato a parlare con gli studenti affinché avessero un comportamento corretto senza disturbare gli altri ospiti, che abbiamo dovuto compensare.

DO NOT BOOK HERE
Awful booking experience. Cancelled our booking and increased the price by £250. Horrible communication. Awful service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. They are clearly just vultures who want to hike prices and let customers down. Very poor service.

Terrible Experience!
Here is an overall summary of our experience:
Negative Points:
1. Facilities like Elevators & Swimming Pool are undergoing renovation & due to sound of construction it is not possible to stay at the hotel during day time.
2. No one informed us about the closure of facilities like Swimming Pool at the time of check-in until we discovered by visiting the facility.
3. No one offered us complimentary welcome drinks at the time of check-in.
4. The rooms are small & furnitures are old and basic requiring renovation.
4. The Lavatory door in the family room (Room Number. 411) has no lock.
5. There is no gap between WC & Bath Tub in the Room Number. 411 making it un-pleasant to sit on WC.
6. Staff members at reception & handling the guests at Breakfast Cafe are arrogant & rude. They sound burnout & need some good rest.
7. There was a lot of shouting & partying noise between the night of 19 February 2025 & 20 February 2025 till very late at night (like 0200 AM) due to which it was nearly impossible to sleep.
Positive Points:
1. Good Breakfast
2. Comfortable Beds
Negative Points:

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
On arrival, we were charged ‘tourist tax’ which was around £80 for our week stay. Then we asked how to access the swimming pool and they said it’s closed for the next few weeks due to construction on the property. This ruined our entire trip, as the whole reason we booked this hotel was the first 4 pictures are literally of the swimming pool balcony. All they did was apologise and offered to add free breakfast to our stay which was of no use to us anyway because we didn’t add it in the first place as we wanted to eat out for every meal. Also, every morning there was drilling and hammering noises waking us up at 8am and builders shouting in the hallway. Neither the construction or swimming pool closure was mentioned anywhere before or after we booked our stay. They could’ve at-least made us aware, and really there should’ve been something on the jet2 page for this hotel that there’s current construction works and the swimming pool should definitely not be the first 4 pictures if it’s closed. The staff were lovely though don’t get me wrong, they helped us with directions and gave us ideas of things to do around Barcelona, but unfortunately the power of compensation was not something they were authorised for. We understand that it was the January month and most people wouldn’t want to swim in a cold pool anyway but we were planning to use it as a ‘cold plunge’ after we used the hotel gym. Also this just reminded me about how awful the shower was. The shower head was clogged up making water spit out at a ridiculous pressure in random directions and there isn’t a shower curtain of some sort so every time you shower the water has to go all over the floor and there’s no way around it. They say there is a ‘mini-bar’ in the room, but really it’s a tiny fridge that only had 2 bottles of water in it with nothing else, and we asked if we can have the water refilled every day but they said this was only for the first day, so what’s the point of calling it a mini-bar? The sheets sometimes had hair or blood stains on them, even though they did smell washed and were changed every day. Overall, rubbish hotel experience but did the job as we only came back to sleep. A 50% reimbursement would’ve been nice, especially considering we payed a stupid ‘tourist tax’.

We will thoroughly review the comments about the cleanliness of the bed linens, as the feedback on the hotel's cleanliness is generally excellent in the reviews you can read. As for the pool, we take advantage of the winter season, when it is closed, to make improvements and have it in perfect condition for its reopening.
