The house is correct, the surroundings are beautiful

We spent 3 nights the first week of October. The views are breathtaking, although the village does not have much to offer in itself, what is really worth it are the monastery and the amazing nature that surrounds it. As for the house... Furniture is rickety, cleaning is very much improved and the idea of putting an XXL Jacuzzi in a huge bathroom is to have little vision: in the end the bathroom seems small and showering is an odyssey, you end up sitting in the bathtub to not put everything lost of water; with the size of the Jacuzzi you barely fit your ass in the toilet (which is fitted between walls), not to mention guests who ignore the request not to start the engine of the bathtub after 10pm. We were hearing hot tubs on early morning 2 out of 3 nights. Breakfast is very expensive and fair, it is more profitable to go down to breakfast at the mill-pizzeria, but that we did not know. We went with a gift chest (wonderbox) and from saying to deed... The usual with gift boxes, wow. Overall, the house is fine for sleeping and showering, the luxury is to enjoy your garden and the views. In the library it was cold, it is a shame because it is glazed and invites to stay. The treatment by the hosts is correct and appropriate.

Beautiful Spot in Countryside

We stayed in this small hotel for two days. It is very Spainish but has a fine location to see the two nearly monestries. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is spotless and well appointed in a rustic style. THe bed was comfortable and the room had wifi and a television. There is a small dining room in a seperate building where the hotel serves breakfast and dinner. Parking is good. The view from the hotel are beautiful. The menu in the hotel is adequate and the fare simple but well presented and wholesome. We ahd a room with a spa bath and that was fun.

Quietness

If you look for quietness this is your place, amidst the peaceful landscapes of the Sierra de la Demanda, close to these architectural jewels that are the Monasteries of Yuso and Suso and conveniently apart from the astonishing ugliness of what we could call the "urban center" of the modern village of San Millán.
The rooms (and public spaces) are decorated in a sort of "monastic" style that includes a lot of (annotated!) books of prayers, I guess to repent of your sins, but the bathroom indulges on a note of sensuality with a modern hot tub!

superb visit

outstanding views from the hotel windows, extremely clean, organized, spacious room, super staff that spoke enough English to help us out when needed. Only issue was that our part of the hotel did not have wifi (other rooms did).
hoping to return in the not to distant future
