I love Canopy. I love Brina at Canopy in Midtown Atlanta.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Atlanta. The hotel is fairly new, very modern, clean and quiet. It's a hidden gem in the city. Staff are friendly and helpful, and my favorite staff member is Brina. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. She remembered my name and when I walk in the door, she addresses me by my name. I am a Diamond member, and if they have the availability, she gets me an upgrade. She is the absolute best and I think that she makes this hotel what it is. I read on the business their business cards, that the manager is referred to as the chief enthusiast. I personally think that he should share that title, chief enthusiast with Brina. Ask for her if you go to this hotel.

Please service this room

I have stayed at this Hilton location many times and I must say that I am very disappointed in my recent visit. It was a weekend visit and my husband and I stayed in room 1405. The light in the hallway of the room did not work, the refrigerator did not work, and the heat did not work. What are the odds? The only saving grace was that our flight was delayed so we literally arrived around 1 am Saturday morning, we were gone all day Saturday, and checked out at 3 :45 am on Sunday. I didn’t ask to be moved, but I did notify the front desk. I could deal with the light and even the refrigerator, but the room was so cold! I turned the heat to 82 and cold air was coming out. Even after the fan and the heat were turned off, cold air still was coming out. I’m not going to say I will never visit again because I have had good experiences here. This was just a room that really needs to be serviced asap.

Poorly Trained Housekepping Staff - Entering Room Against Guest Wishes, on multiple occasions.

This is my second time staying at this location. We had this same problem last time we stayed here.
It seems that the cleaning staff is poorly trained and does not fully understand the meaning of the " Do Not Disturb " signs, when placed on the exterior doorknob. For the first occurrence during this stay, I was inside of my room working, with the sign on the door, with the room safety latch enabled. The Housekeeper STILL attempted to enter my room, and requested to be let in. I told her " No you may not, read the sign on the door". After this interaction I contacted guest services to request that the Housekeeping Supervisor be alerted to my request and that my room not be serviced/disturbed for the remainder of our stay. The front desk agent was very polite and reassured me that my request would be processed......
The next day I left my room for many hours, with the sign on the exterior door again. I leave this sign on for a few reasons, one being that I have severe dust mite allergies and hypoallergenic items that I do not wish to be affected by unknowing staff.
Upon returning to my room I discovered that not only had the staff REMOVED the sign from my doorknob, but had also serviced my room - therefor completely disregarding my several requests. They literally touched the sign, ignored it, moved it and entered our room anyway.
We complained to guest services, again, and were reassured that it would not happen again. We specifically requested that it be marked and highlighted in the daily log at the front desk and again be brought to the attention of the housekeeping supervisor.
This is our second stay at this location, for business purposes, and we experienced this issue earlier this year as well. Personally, I find this to not be inline with the Hilton Worldwide Standard that assures 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and would like to not return to this property due to this ongoing issue.
