Outside looks a little sketchy. But inside was totally fine. Old, but well maintained. It had everything we needed.

Great stay at a quaint boutiquey hotel in a charming room with brick wall accents. The staff was courteous and the restaurant was chic and offered wonderful Italian classics with a modern twist.

We were passing through Philadelphia for a day, and fell upon this gem of a hotel. Charmingly located in the old city, at close proximity and walking distance to historic landmarks, such as the franklin museum, fashion district, the liberty bell and reading terminal market. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Just keep in mind, it is an old
Historic building, not your state of the art modern structure but with every amenity provided.

I absolutely loved the rustic charm of this hotel, and I had a wonderful experience. Definitely get a room with one of the juliet balconies if you go!
