Exceptional Resort in North Scottsdale
The food on site was great - definitely reccomend the s’mores shaped cactus desert at Proof!

Older properly in need of an update. Staff seems very comfortable with passable service.
The rooms are feeling outdated and the heating is inadequate. There was a cold spell during our stay, but shivering under blankets isn’t acceptable. Very tired gas fireplaces appear to be from the late 90s and add to a very stale feel. Room decore is also very out of step and feels yesteryear. The detactched rooms perhaps are not maintained as well as the main hotel? Not sure, but it was disappointing. Particularly, the elevator seemed dirty, with very worn carpet. The room number signs we worn off (2422 room) adding to the tired and uncared for feel, along with animal excrement caked on the balcony terrace, that accompanied us for coffee each morning. Last, but certainly not least, I was left for 30 minutes, literally 30 minutes, at a breakfast meeting at Proof, by my server. This was apparently due to some sort of memory lapse as the restaurant was flustered with a large group. Upsetting and sub par.
This property is being ignored, and the owners are not managing it well, in my experience. Four Seasons needs to be aware this isn’t up to the brand. Very mediocre.

Great stay as always
I’m writing this review because I have asked many times if they could just turn the fire tables on outside in the morning for our coffee and I just can’t seem to get through that they should just turn them on every morning automatically especially on the cold mornings
Hoping this review will stimulate that

Treat Yourself.... sooooo worth it.
Our room was impeccably furnished, well cared for, very clean and comfortable. Twice a day housekeeping service was a great added touch.
Was there for a three day conference and the event staff could not have done a better job. Seeing many of the same faces at dinner that you saw you at breakfast was a testament as to how long their days were and the effort they put in, but they were always smiling and super friendly and professional.
Front of the house team specifically at the front door were always engaging and offering assistance.
An absolute home run from staff, to guest rooms to overall meeting and event experience. One of the better hotels you could have the privilege of staying at.
