Can you ask for anything more ?
I was shopping locally and as I was driving past spotted there was a space in the parking bays directly outside so spontaneously decided to call in here for a spot of lunch. My wife and I had been here for lunch back in August shortly after moving to the area but it never occurred to me to review it at the time.
It was a few minutes before 1pm and the place was heaving, every table in the front dining area adjacent to the bar was occupied and I was shown through to the light and spacious rear dining room. No difference in here as I counted a mix of 20 diners already in situ ranging from couples to a family with teenagers and pairs of businessmen. I took my place at a table for 4 that had one remaining place setting left and shortly after I arrived another 4 guests wandered in in pairs. I quote these numbers purely as we were all served by a single waitress and at no time were there any complaints from anyone about waiting for their different courses and neither were empty dishes left on tables for lengthy periods as she moved effortlessly around the room like the Roadrunner on Speed.
So effective was she that I do believe if the small exterior courtyard (that was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy ones meal in the summer) with another half dozen tables set amongst a number of vines was open, that she would have been serving them as well!
The Menu du Jour started with an extremely tasty and piping hot lump of fish on a bed of spinach with a creamy cheese sauce and topped with an open mussel in its shell and served with the obligatory basket of bread. It’s size wouldn’t have disgraced a main course in some restaurants’ but there was more to follow. The main was a huge bowl of Côte du Bœuf accompanied by a separate plate of vegetables - cabbage, carrots, leek and potatoes the entirety of which would have fed a small army, after which this boy was certainly slow marching on a full stomach. The conclusion was a choice between profiteroles or Crème Pâtisserie. I chose the latter and was thankful for its normal dimensions. I had a [expresso] coffee to finish and even though it was charged extra the whole at just €14 was a steal and completed in a shade over three quarters of an hour. Good wholesome food, large portions and efficient service, can you ask for anything more from an eaterie?

Bonne surprise !
Comment dire ? Très bonne surprise que ce petit hôtel ! De prime abord, on se dit que l'on s'est trompé d'endroit... Il y a une terrasse qui fait bistrot et des habitués bien bruyants et "vivants". Et non ! Il y a aussi un hôtel sur l'arrière. Voilà un charmant endroit où le personnel est très accueillant. Vraiment. Les chambres sont petites ( la douche est riquiqui mais fonctionnelle) cependant elles sont bien équipées : sèche-cheveux, bouilloire, thé et bonbons de bienvenue ! C'est agréable de trouver ce genre d'attention... La literie était très agréable et les chambres sont vraiment au calme après la fermeture du restaurant. Nous recommandons cet endroit.+++

Excellente adresse
Un accueil très chaleureux. Des serveuses souriantes et à l'écoute. Des plats bien travaillés jusque dans le petit détail.
Je recommande fortement ce restaurant qui allie simplicité et authenticité...

Agréable
Séjour agréable,bonne ambiamce (point de rencontres de village le soir après le travail) très bon accueil, le partron toujours avec le sourire, on devine le sourire de la petite serveuse même sous son masque. Restaurent, produit fait maison (ça se voit dans l'assiette. Chambre impeccable, clim, calme. Bref je vous recommande cet endroit.
