Hotel worth a visit

We spent five nights at the Nougier hotel in Fursac, in the Creuse. The hotel is pleasant, with spacious and comfortable rooms. We took advantage of the hotel's restaurant, run by a chef recognized as a Maître-Restaurateur, Toque Blanche du Limousin, and holder of the Bib Gourmand Michelin title.
We were able to discover and savor the Plaisir and Inspiration menus (inspired by the chef), a real treat for the eyes and taste buds. The dishes, tasty and creative, were bursting with flavor and were prepared with excellent quality fresh produce.
We are delighted with our stay.
Thank you and congratulations to chef Stéphane NOUGIER, as well as the entire hotel team who took care of us and made our stay most enjoyable. An essential address for a successful stay.

Pension that lacks human warmth

We stayed 2 nights at this Inn and will not return. It does not offer any welcome. On arrival we give you the key, the floor and your room number without any smile or nice word. We still made 3 different hotels this same week with warm and kind receptions. Fortunately the rooms were spacious and well equipped. We also had dinner at the restaurant, we ate very well but what an ordeal to wait 1/2 hour between each dish, in total more than 2h30 at the table. We preferred to dine elsewhere the next day. Check-out was just as confusing as check-in, this time the boss spent time with me, finally a chat, to explain that I should not have the Logis Pension loyalty card validated.

Beautiful stage Creusoise

We always come back with pleasure and always leave very satisfied. Catering and hospitality are always of an excellent standard that does not weaken.

Awful Customer Service

We arrived at the hotel at 6pm after a very tiring journey, having been delayed for 3 hours due to a flat tyre. We were very disappointed at the customer service of their reception which was curt and dismissive in relation to our room and parking arrangements. We did not feel at all welcome. We had asked for a room with garden view but were given a room looking out onto a very unattractive wall with no view. When we explained that we had requested a room with a garden view we were told that there was no possibility of changing rooms as the hotel was full, which was not the case. It took the intervention of the owner for our room to be changed for a garden view, for which were happy to pay a small supplement. The hotel has so much potential and the wine selection and the food in the restaurant was good (although limited due to lack of availability of staff), however our experience was extremely disappointing due to very poor customer service which we have never experienced before over many years of staying at Logis hotels throughout France (4 visited on this holiday in France).
