Located in Kolhapur, Nisarg Resort is in the historical district and near the airport. Kolhapur Town Hall Museum and Siddhagiri Gramjivan Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Sajja Kothi and New Palace. Kawla Naka and Khasbag Maidan are also worth visiting. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like hiking/biking trails and mountain biking. Nisarg, Ek Anubhav
The entire resort, including our room, is built on the concept of wood, stone, and mud. It is eco-friendly, spacious, and artistically crafted. The owner, Mr. Avinash Bedekar, is extremely humble and down to earth. He personally designed the resort, driven by his vision to promote structures made from wood, stone, and mud. During a small conversation with him, we could sense his brilliance as an artist and his remarkable vision.
The property features unique concepts like the Truck House and the Wada, which transport you back to the golden days of the Maratha era. Both are absolutely mesmerizing.
The staff, from the warm and welcoming reception team Aditi and Devashree, to the attentive housekeeping staff, made our stay comfortable. Abhijit, the star of the activity area, impressed us with his skills. He taught us the art of stone balancing and rifle shooting, which was so much fun. The activity room offered many engaging experiences that kept us entertained.
Our package included breakfast, high tea, and a buffet dinner, all of which were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed authentic Maharashtrian cuisine during our stay. The entire property is very well maintained and clean, with decor that reflects heritage and creativity, crafted from old, traditional pieces.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Avinash Bedekar for this wonderful experience. We look forward to more such pleasant stays with our family in the future
