Stay in Ananda Kashi

Hotel is neat and clean. Found washed bedsheets and clean towels. Rooms weren't big but enough for two people. We are staying in the ground floor it can be a bit noisy. Good breakfast layout and helpful staff. Experience has been good. I have already referred it to my family.

Value for money, but needs some more changes in the structure and service

The location is good, near by all attractions. The hotel ground floor rooms very noisy, when people check in. The bedsheets are stained, and grey in colour. They need to have better sheets, and towels. They have staff who sleeps in the reception, in the night shift. In the sofa, with a bedsheet. It’s very unpleasant. Their basement is an unfinished mess, dusty, and pathetic . It’s an eye sore. The breakfast time is 8, but the food is not ready by 8.00. It’s inconvenient, especially if u are checking out early. The staff are very helpful, but find it difficult to cope with the rush.

Fabulous hotel!

Simply a wonderful experience! Clean premises and fabulous service. Walking distance from Kashi Vishwanath temple, Kal Bhairav temple, local markets and innumerous eateries. Very convenient location.
Hotel staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Auto rickshaws are available on demand. Car pick and drop to airport or railway station can be arranged by the hotel.
They have a restaurant called 'Saras', food there is good, however service at the restaurant is slow.
Tea kettle inside the room for that early morning coffee or tea is available.
Huge rooms and a large bathroom.
The only drawback is that the house keeping clean the room only post 3:00 p.m., however fresh towels and bottled water is available on demand. Highly recommended!!!

An Oasis close to temple at Varanasi

Our excellent choice, for our 3 nights stay at Kashi. Located almost near the edge of the vehicular access perimeter of the temple, one can access from here by foot ( about 15 minutes ) or cycle rickshaw.
Located in, unfortunately a not so clean neighbourhood, the hotel stands out for hospitality and comfort. Checkin and out time is strictly adhered. Upper floors are accessed by elevator. Rooms are small, compact, but very neat and comfortable. Only low side is that the corridor noises percolate into the room - as guests are with extended families and are not so quiet in Kashi.
Housekeeping is superb and staff are very courteous. The bright side of the hotel is its restaurant - it’s remarkable for the attentive staff and for the food served. Infact, we had most of our meals here, as finding a clean restaurant in Kashi is a task.
Overall a great place to stay.

Excellent stay

Excellent place to stay. Clean and tidy. Good service. Nearby to the Kashi Vishwanath temple. The restaurant inhouse also has good food. Though options are very limited but the taste is good. I would recommend Ananda Kashi for a peaceful stay during your visit to Kashi
