Magic site
Superb apartment feet in the water of the fjord. The breathtaking views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains still covered with snow. A magnificent sight. It's like a movie! The whole complex is clean, bright , with floor-to-ceiling windows, everywhere, including the Restaurant.

A gem of a stay on the Vesterals.
Beautiful, quiet location. Fantastic view from the room. Unbeatable.
Nice room with large window-bed positioned so that you have a sublime view from your bed. Room fine in size. Recently renovated but with better materials (instead of large chipboards for ceiling) they had lifted the room to a higher level at no great extra cost. Ample closet space, small minibar and small desk. Sufficient switches but unfortunately none on the bedside table, unless you turned off the night lamp. Curtains did not give a complete blackout but also not evident with such a giant window.
Bathroom in order. Admittedly only 1 sink and no separate toilet products in shower. Great shower, quick hot water.
Minus was lack of room service. We stayed 3 nights and the room was not checked once, beds were not made, towels not changed when desirable. When I went to inquire and informed that we expected this at such a type of hotel, although the requested new large bath towel was brought to the door, room was not checked and dirty towel was not taken. Even day after no service, although it was clear that we wanted this. Should be the guest's choice.
Breakfast fine. Also restaurant (half board) of good quality. Only first evening long waiting, especially for dessert that was ready (over 45 minutes). In total more than 2 hours at the table first evening which is excessively long given limited choice (3 options). Second and third evening smooth.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Owner not seen. Organization in restaurant a bit chaotic, as if one was open first day. Wine put on our room bill while we had each taken 1 soda - we did not find ourselves on the lists while we had also immediately mentioned our room number by the name - final bill of drink, made by ourselves at 10 seconds, took a long time and was still wrong: partly double counted. Small imperfections that however do not belong in hotel of this level and price. Perhaps little experience of current staff.
But in summary really a gem and definitely recommended.
You can also book activities there. There are 2 Jacuzzis. But we have not taken advantage of that.

Unfortunately no charging stations for electric cars
The location is remote and the view from the modern rooms is unique! Sea, small islands and mountains on the horizon.
They are small details that could be improved.
Room and bathroom are very generous. Two comfortable armchairs to enjoy the view.
Unfortunately, the small fridge does not work, but it is sufficiently cool outside.
Very comfortable bed.
No opportunities for surrounding walks or hikes.

This was a GREAT place to seek the northern lights. The room was very comfortable. The view from the room was spectacular. The food was great. The staff could not have been more helpful. Early January was the low season. Yet all staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We loved our three night stay. We will return during the summer, for sure!

Nobody speaks Norwegian
Nobody speaks Norwegian! Really sorry to be met in English. Not everyone speaks English. Every employee should really learn the basics of Norwegian before they have customer contact, because it is terribly uncomfortable to feel unwelcome in their own country. Otherwise the food was good and the room nice and clean.
