Few Pros and Several Cons
Discreet level of cleanliness, although definitely improvable, more attention should be paid to stains on the light sofa, and on the support placed at the foot of the bed.
Despite the considerable size of the chamber, it was not even equipped with a side table.
Shortage of bath products: we found next to the sink a single mini size of body cream, and two shower caps, as well as and two pre-filled soap dispensers, one for the face and one in the shower... nothing else provided.
The decor of the room is too minimal, a single wardrobe not very functional for storing clothes and shoes, the TV screen of tiny dimensions, with only digital channels available.
Breakfast not at all up to expectations: beyond the cramped room, which implies a very limited space between the tiny tables, the quality and variety of products served disappointing. Very little variety of cured meats and cheeses (cooked shoulder, salami and a type of sliced cheese), some variations of croissants, cheap fruit juices, some fruits in limited quantities and yogurt jars ... fortunately the possibility of having at least one fresh juice.
But the most sore note of all is the fact that the b & b is located on the third floor of a building without a lift, to reach the rooms you have to walk 77 steps, but above all no one comes to help guests in the transport of luggage, regardless of age and physical condition. To be honest, the description indicates the absence of the elevator, although it is stated to be located on the second floor, and not on the third.
At check in, although payment was made 10 days in advance of the arrival date, a credit card is required as a guarantee... when asked for explanations about this, we are told that it is a practice of the structure, which is not expressly indicated at the time of booking
All this for the modest amount of € 200 per night, excluding tourist tax, for bed and breakfast only.
Experience that we will hardly repeat and recommend.

Good location
Breakfast (from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.) offering something to satisfy both those who prefer sweet and savory lovers. The lady who serves it is very helpful and friendly.
Mini bar available.
Well placed to visit everything on foot (3' from the Duomo, 3' from Palazzo Vecchio, 10' from Ponte Vecchio and a good quarter of an hour from Santa Maria Novella station).
Located in the city center, but we were not disturbed by street noise, except for garbage trucks early in the morning.
Possibility to leave luggage after check-out.
Perhaps difficult to access for people with reduced mobility (4th floor without elevator). But, find out, because I seem to have seen an electric stair lift.
In conclusion, a very good address.
