Riga Ibis=not a bad life

Guys, we're staying here for a little while in mid-March 2025. The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre and main attractions. Polite staff. Not a bad breakfast. A little bit of a dead fly on the window.
In general, we recommend it!
Although, of course, it's up to you...

Squeeky floors from hell

Good location and price on the hotel. The worst pillows in the bed ever so bring painkillers for the morning after. The squeeking in the floors are so loud that you will wake up your partner if need to use the bathroom during the night. The breakfast was mediocre and on our first moring there was not room for us to eat in the breakfastroom, so we had to walk a long way and eat in the lobby/bar. Roomtemperature apple and orangejuice is the options to drink at breakfast.

Excellent value for money in the center of Riga

Very good location near to everything necessary and only a few blocks away from the picturesque old town area. Friendly staff, cozy interior, well-equipped room and tasty breakfast. With all this the hotel room price was very affordable. Good value for money in the heart of beautiful Riga! I recommend this hotel!

What you’d expect from Ibis

I regularly stay in Ibis hotels across Europe. They are a budget chain. If you’re looking for a luxury stay look elsewhere. The check in process was quick and easy, and the fifth floor en suite room was clean and well heated. It faced into the inner courtyard which probably cut out a lot of the noise from nearby streets.
Breakfast was very much what I’ve come to expect from Ibis; breads croissants, cereals , yoghurts, pastries and a cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs, beans and wurst style sausages. If you’re looking for go to breakfast at 7am the breakfast room may be heaving with coach and college student parties loading the calories before heading off on trips for the day. If you’re looking can leave breakfast until 8am you’ll probably have the room to yourself.
On the day of my arrival I ate in the on-site restaurant. It offered a range of mainly pizzas, pastas and burgers which was fine. There is also a bar though during most of my stay it was quiet.
All in all just it was just what I expected from an Ibis hotel.

Superb place to stay!

Booked this place because of its location and it’s perfect! Great spacious hotel. Good spacious rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was fabulous with a great choice. I think they could use an extra coffee machine though in the breakfast room. The staff were superb and ever so fries and helpful (especially as I had an accident where I fell I. The shopping centre opposite and injured my ankle and fractured my sternum, so over half a day spent at hospital ) and they were helpful in bringing up ice and extra towels. Going back to Riga and will 100 percent choose this place again . Well done
