Wonderful Airport Stay
Sofitel Athens Airport is the perfect place to stay after (or before) a flight to Athens. The spa and pool area are perfect for relaxing, and the restaurant Mesoghaia and rooftop bar were lovely. You can watch planes take off from the pool, which was fun!Our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Athens with an early morning or late night flight since it is so conveniently located across the street from the airport.

A conveniently located hotel for an early morning flight but very pricey
We had a 6am flight, and had to be at the airport by 4am. The hotel is literally right next to the airport, and is about a 5 minutes to walk to the 2nd floor departure gate at the airport. We were able to drop off our rental car the evening before, and walk to the hotel – so very convenient location. The hotel itself, was your standard hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor; it was quiet; clean; and had black-out shutters. The shower was modern large. We were unable to get the AC to work at night, and the pillows were too soft (a personal taste likely), and ideally we needed additional pillows from the ones that were in the closet. The bed was comfortable. The toilet was in its own room, separated from the room with the shower – very common in Europe – and which we liked. The desk staff were very friendly, and followed through with an automated wake-up call at 3am. The cost however, for the convenient location and hotel experience, was very pricey. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the 1st floor, which was delicious, but also very expensive.

Great hotel for overnight stays on late arrivals at Athens airport. Directly across the street at the exit, gives you a soothing feeling after a long flight.
Reception are waiting for you for check-in and handling all your questions.
Chosen for their suite room and it's delicious. You'll be resting and recharged for the next day.
Breakfast is delicious and will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Everything was great, but watch out for the price
This was a great stopover on our trip from Samos to home. Very accommodating. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Very nice service and beautiful surroundings.
But, very expensive. If we ignored the price, we'd be extremely happy. But,hard to ignore the price.
Would we buck up and do it again? Yes.

Convenient/ Upscale/ Delightful
The hotel is right across the street from the terminal. The location is perfect for early morning flights and easy if you are arriving Athens. Very upscale. Nice rooms and excellent roof top restaurant. Food was also excellent in the lobby restaurant. Staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend.
