Lovely stay with exceptional hosts by Dali, Vesna and Marko!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Azimut. We had 2 rooms (1xcomfort double with sea view (room #1) and 1xSuite with sea view (room #11)). Both rooms very nice - room 1 had a better view and would not bother with paying extra for the suite unless you are more than 2 people. Both rooms excellent size. The staff (Dali, Vesna and Marko) where incredible…cannot speak highly enough on how they treated my family. The breakfasts exceptional. Like any hotel there are some small maintenance items to fix but that should not put one off staying here. Easy walk to beach and our pick was Milocer beach. Parking is a challenge and we opted for the €20 a day which hotel has access to, 100m down the road. Some great restaurants in vicinity (CafeCafe, Drago) but our favourite was Paštrovića Dvora (cash only) about 10 mins away. Sveti Stefan is special.

Just ok, spa and pool closed

I was really dissapointed to find out the spa, pool, gym and outdoor restaurant was closed. No warning on the website at all and part of the reason I booked it was because of this. I booked a suite with a balcony sea view and was given a side view obstructed by two other balconys. They agreed to move me to a front facing room but not a suite and for no discount in price. The first two days of my trip were confronted with a group of workmen at the front of the hotel removing unslightly rubbish in a trailer causing a huge noise, being rude, spitting, smokong and staring at me whilst I tried to enjoy the balcony. This went on all Saturday afternoon. The restaurant downstairs is dreery and depressing (the outside area was closed) so I asked each morning to have my breakfast on my balcony which the staff obliged. On that note the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was just ok. The tv didnt work. There was no complimetry bottled water. Good location for wonderful views of Sveti Stefan and the gorgeous beaches but hard to get elsewhere on the coast without a car. There is one bus that goes back and forth to Budva for 2.50 which is useful but its 20 euros in a taxi. I wouldnt come back.

They should change the description on booking

The pool is not panoramic but it is an indoor pool from which the view cannot be seen. Maybe it's 50 meters as the crow flies from the beach but to go there on foot you either have to take a very long series of stairs or you have to walk a bit, no more than 10 minutes but it's a bit steep uphill. For the rest, everything is fine, the room is more than comfortable, the view from the balcony is beautiful, is everything clean enough? Breakfast is not a buffet but is served by a very friendly waiter. They are also very kind at the reception. The price/quality ratio is good.

Just perfect!

Excellent value for money - beautiful large clean room with stunning balcony views of Sveti Stefan beach and island. Brilliant breakfast (so much lovely food and variety) and very helpful staff. Made the trip - it really is a beautiful place to stay - just a 5 min walk to beach. Cannot fault it

Hot. Steep. Friendly

This hotel was hard to find for the taxi driver as it doesn’t proclaim itself. Once found we then had to climb some steep steps into a small reception area. Thankfully the cab driver took my case. We were greeted by Vesna who was delightful. She and allege staff speak excellent English. But there was no chef, no evening meal, no bar area and the pool indoor) was closed for some of our stay. My room was spotless but reached by another set of stairs without a stair rail which isn’t easy for me as I walk with a stick! The bathroom was beautifully appointed, well-equipped with toiletries, towels, hair dryer etc.Otherwise the room was thankfully air conditioned with a small balcony overlooking the sea. I couldn’t make the TV work but that didn’t matter.
Breakfast was great-cold meats, cheese, croissants, fruit etc. the rooms had kettles and tea but I don’t drink tea so a coffee arrived every morning and again with breakfast. Just the bread wasn’t the best.
We persuaded Vesna to let us buy and open a bottle of wine and they kept it In the fridge for us so we could have a glass before we went out for supper. It was delicious.
This lovely little hotel was almost completely empty. The village has few shops and only two accessible restaurants, one belongs to the Hotel California (really!) and the other is on the beach. The beach is stony. There are serious slopes to navigate! It was also very hot-34 degrees! With all the disadvantages I loved it! We met Serbs, Hungarians and Montenegrins. They were all friendly and interesting.
