City Central!

The hotel was centrally located and the staff were always super friendly.
The breakfast each morning was also one of the best items that i have experienced whilst travelling- hot and cold along with juice 'super shots' to give you that wake up boost!

well located

first room on the ground floor with views of the facade opposite,after changing rooms on the second clean and large enough to open the suitcases,comparing rooms with large difference in surface, friendly staff, hearty and varied breakfast, near the center of Bergen

You know how sometimes the best surprises come in the least expected packages? That's exactly how I feel about my recent stay at Hotel Heimen in Bergen!
Honestly, walking up, I wasn't sure what to expect from the exterior. But step inside, and you're transported to a place brimming with history and charm. This isn't just any hotel – it's Bergen's very first established hotel, and you can feel that legacy in every corner.
And the location? Absolutely unbeatable! Seriously, everything is within walking distance: the train station, the bustling port, and all the incredible attractions Bergen has to offer. My feet thanked me every day!
But let's talk about the real MVP of my stay: the breakfast! The restaurant area, though small, was incredibly cozy and inviting. And the breakfast spread itself? Oh. My. Goodness. It was super complete and absolutely delicious. The perfect fuel for a day of exploring.
I can't recommend enough. If you're looking for a hotel that offers an incredible location, a cozy atmosphere, and a breakfast that will make your taste buds sing, look no further. This place is a definite 1000% recommendation from me!

A little out of the way from the main attractions in town, but that keeps things quiet. The staff are professional yet pleasant enough. The breakfast matches the independent hotel vibes. The room is simple, and snug, but gets the job done. The bathroom (especially the shower) is small, but again is fine for a couple nights.

Very nice hotel with an outstanding breakfast

Staying at this hotel was a lovely experience. The staff is super nice and the person who received us even spoke Spanish. It’s very well located and the rooms are confortable. The breakfast was extremely good. I recommend it for all kind of visitors
