Honest review
Cons - greeted with stains on the carpets throughout the house including our room, room too small for all the things crammed into it, small shower and none of the fancy multi shower heads worked, only the hand held shower head worked (tip, the hot/cold indicators have been installed around the wrong way. Don’t be like me and stand in a freezing shower waiting for it to heat up before moving the handle to the cold side and magic hot water).
Room needed a deep clean, there were stains on the walls and base boards needing cleaning (visible grime).
Sliding outside door didn’t lock properly.
Special mention - the included cooked breakfast is served from 8am. We needed to leave by 8am to join the Kapati Island Tour. They did provide us with Continental breakfast ingredients to make ourselves. We feel this needs to be mentioned so others aren’t caught out like us. They said if we wanted a cooked breakfast before 8am we would have to pay extra for the “chef” (pretty sure the chef was the lady who met us at the door and lives on site) to come in earlier. We asked who the owner(s) were, she replied “why do you want to know”. Could have been resolved nicely if this lady had a better attitude instead of being aggressive. My husband had to ask her to stop yelling at him.

Tidy but not clean
Breakfast was delish but it was full-cooked no option of continental or help-yourself. English was host's second language and was somewhat hard to understand.

We are so sorry to hear that you had you have an unpleasant experience at the White House. Unfortunately, you booked the cheapest room which clearly states that it was a room with a shared bathroom for a huge discount at the White House. We have made changes to this though since your last visit. All our rooms now include private bathrooms. Our hosts are on standby to welcome and serve guests for room services. For everyone's safety, we have to make sure that the house is secure after late-night hours which is also why we provide every guest with a key for their rooms and the front door for their convenience.
