Just spic and span, cozy and clean, new rooms, delicious food, beautifully prepared, delicious extensive breakfast, real scrambled eggs

Just a good hotel, not such a large chain, this is much more personal, very clean new rooms, ideal for visiting the open air theater Hertme, 1 km on foot, delicious extensive food and a super breakfast, everything was there, coffee mmmm, nice staff

Local hotel in Borne - Hertme

Sleep peacefully in a hotel in the countryside for 1 night. The bed and mattress were very comfortable (bought in Borne...) and the room was fully equipped.
Breakfast was a buffet and there was plenty of choice.
The food was also very tasty - a lot of it, but next time I will take small portions...

Feeling like being home

This place deserved the WOW factor, situated in a country invarioument, 15 minutes walk from a little town gives you al the peace and rest you want. Train station gives you the opportunity to visit major towns in the area.

Beautyful place but doesnt meet expectations.

Went there for 3 nights with wife and a friend. Our friends were getting merried at 't stift so this hotel looked nice cos it was so close. Once there check in was smooth but we learned that reception and gate close at 22:00. The groom' s father calls the owner since the wedding party will end late. He is told there are keys to get for night use. He gets one and the Hotel staff promise to give me one. When I try to get one there is none. We get a phonenr to call at night and they will open. After wedding party we try and call but there is no answer, we see a lit tv in the restaurant and knock on window and are let in. So not to happy with service. The rooms are nice and clean but not very sound proof. Beds were very good, we all slept well. There was no possibilities for ironing either. Breakfast was ok. Seen better, seen worse. All in all. If you just need a place to sleep near Borne, Enschede, Almelo this might be a good spot for you. I you need or expect more maybe look at alternatives. It was well worth what we paid despite the night trouble.

very friendly staff (owner ?)

I phoned in the morning to the hotel to ask if there was a possibility to have our room already at 12.00 am. (we went to a concert in the early afternoon and needed to change clothes.) Answer was that they would do their best. When we arrived at 11.30 am, we immediately got our key. On the next morning (we stayed only for 1 night) we were alone for breakfast. We got a very good breakfast alltough we were alone. (with eggs, bacon etc....)
It was the second time we were in the hotel. First time was also very good. (then we had dinner in the restaurant which was totally OK)
