Good hosting

The service is great, the staff are attentive, the coffee is sorted the location is very good, but the hotel leaves much to be desired in structure. The pillows are bad, the bed is good, I stayed a period in rooms that the cleaning was not good, and another period in the apartments in front that are much better and also the cleaning.

Bad service

I booked the hotel for work, the conversation with whom I attended was: I would like to book for 4 people, in the same room, however, we will not leave at 12h (as it happened to me that the checkout was closed), I booked for departure at 18h, so there would be an addition of 100,00. I closed the hosting by WhatsApp and paid 50% for the entry. On the day of departure, I called to pay the other 50%, they charged me 100 more, in addition to the 100,00 that included for us to stay until 18:00. Coincidentally, we left at midday. So, I paid the 100,0” which would be until 18:00 and td well, I was already paid. But then, the gentleman who serves, very rough as in all services via WhatsApp, wanted to charge another 100,00, because according to him closed at 11h (he said it was 12h). It was a slight moment of discomfort. We had already paid more and wanted to charge more. The Brazilian is punk, always wanting to take advantage. Therefore, I do not recommend, for the care. Presuming that it is not useful to have a cozy environment, if those who are working or caring for the environment, act sharply.

Nice place to stay

We stayed for three days on our vacations in Brazil. We liked the breakfast, location and the staff, including my friend Mr. Miller, in the reception. The price was good as well!
We really recommend!!!

Choice of stay in Blumenau

Stayed at Steinhausen Hotel for 2 nights in December during my trip to Blumenau for business purposes and I have to say the Hotel has everything a traveller needs. The location is outstanding and the staff are extremely helpful. A special thank you to Mr. Richard Steinhausen for his hospitality.
It is a simple Hotel, but it lives up to its standards and doesn't promess anything they can't deliver.

For my students

Being responsible for student exchange with the university in the city - it is important to find a place central, with walking distance to most things interesting, but also comfortable, and not to expensive. This hotel have been popular many years, since it is not too expensive, have a pool, being central, close to university/supermarket/buses, and speaking at least some English.
