I love this place!

I loved it!
+ I really love places with personal touch, this theme is just great
+ tidy room
+ readinig lights, curtains on bunk beds
+ little fridge even in the dorms
+ big locker, can easily fit a suitcase
+ friendly staff
+ good shared kitchen, free tea too
+ good location, everything is near
+ quiet inner courtyard, so very peaceful too
+ rooms have AC
- no minuses. Everything worked really well. Can't complain about anything. I would love to return here to experience to some other room too (all rooms are unique).

Nights with a lantern...

Choosing a hostel stopped there because of the positive feedback, but it's not my case... Check-in was after 9.00 p.m., which I warned about, the hostel booked 2-3 weeks in advance, but when she arrived, she found the following... (attached photo). The bed was with dirty laundry!!! The reception was no longer working, there was only one phone number on the information sheet (as on the website) with only tones. I was there for the first time and not immediately, but I found another number. They answered and told me to wait... half an hour and I had my bed replaced, a towel given and I could settle in, BUT... the bedside lamp doesn't work... it's late, the top light won't come on, people sleep, walked around with a flashlight... and with a flashlight I went all 3 nights, since I reported the problem the next day, but weekends, the master is resting, and I came to rest too, but the rest was marred by the hostel...

Not Recommendation

the photos are deceiving, the place is very different, the photos portray only some corners of the location, the reality is quite different, the bathrooms are small and cramped, the bed dirty and uncomfortable, there is no kitchen, for all this you spend as in the hotel!
That's crazy.

Guesthouse with good facilities in central Katowice

Comfortable hostel at a central location in Katowice (5 minutes to bus and train station). Clean. Good facilities such as WiFi also working well in the room. Hot showers and toilet not far from the room. Small fridge in the room, AC, bed lamp, (short) curtain. Good bed ánd pillows. Spacious lockers with power outlet inside! Everything worked well and has been designed with the perspective of the guest in mind.
Despite the price (14,60€ for a bunk) no staff on site (at least I did not see anybody). Guests are mostly indifferent. Did not speak even one word during my whole stay! As if you are in robot land. Not a fault of the management.
Self check-in worked well (even if you are not familiar with Polish locks: key number symbol to be inserted after code, not before). If something goes wrong and you have no sim, you have a problem. Make sure you have read instructions online, before going there. Make sure you have codes available offline.
The amount of different colors, lamps and images is for me a bit over the top. Rather dark, sometimes it felt like in a cave. However, overall a good place to stay.

Good, but strange

Great, central location, quiet.
Good bed with curtain for privacy and its own power socket, plus a large lockable closet and flip-flops and a bath towel.
Staff??
Constant disco lighting and dim light in the corridors strongly reminds of a dingy atmosphere, too few bathrooms
