Great hotel in Cannes.

Great hotel in Cannes with a location close to the train station, historic center and beaches, making it possible to visit the city on foot. Some rooms even have views of the Citadel.
Very good welcome, affordable prices. Recommended

RUN AWAY!!

Hotel and owner Shame! RUN AWAY!!!
We had booked a stay this summer with my friend of 8 nights.
We went through Booking on which the notes are passable and the pictures suitable also.
However, a week before our trip I decided to look out of curiosity at the hotel reviews on Google, and there......
We got scared with the multitude of pictures of insects, dirt and the disrespectful attitude of the manager.
We therefore attached Booking who advised us to drive ourselves to the hotel anyway to judge for ourselves and to come back to them if the photos of the reviews reflected reality.
Please note that 3 free cancellation requests were made later and no response from the property was given, however we do not forget to send us the confirmation of the trip and the access codes! (Yep!!)
So we headed there anyway and without surprise! Dirt everywhere: blood on the dresser, rusty objects in the bathroom, tape at the feet of the bed?, wet PQ to block the smoke detector, rotten floor and so on....
The terrace??? It is empty! there is NO furniture installed on it.
ALL photos are false!!! (including those of the rooms!!!).
Photos of the damage were taken (fortunately!) and sent to Booking.
We had to take another accommodation so expenses in +....
The manager was then contacted by phone and the comments are true! This guy doesn't belong in this position, he takes us from above, laughs at us. He also tells us that we are lying, that the room has been redone????!Enormous joke!! (working in the hotel industry I explain to him a little his work and the hygiene rules to be respected) he replies that everyone works in the hotel industry and hangs up on us 2 x!
Does he not answer Booking for fear of having problems? NO commercial gesture, NOTHING!! On 616€ not 1€ was not refunded by this man!
Thank you Booking for being on our side looking at the disaster of the photos!!! And who asked us to leave a nice comment for this individual.
Oh yes! and if you are in a wheelchair, especially pass the same + your way because access is forbidden (while the law of January 2015 obliges any hotel establishment to make access at least for people with reduced mobility)!
To anyone reading my comment, spend your way even if it means putting a little more money elsewhere to spend a pleasant stay away from this hovel!

Never coming back

Very disappointed! We booked this hotel based on location and pictures. We got a room in the basement and were shocked by what we found. The floor was dirty, the bathroom looked moldy and the electrical outlet was flammable. Worst we have ever seen. The view that the hotel promised was not true. Overall a very poor standard. Wouldn't even want our enemies to stay there. We found another hotel thanks to Hotels.com

Health hazard

Without question the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The smell in the room is horrid. There is black mold all over the bathroom and the shower doesn’t drain. If you open the door to the small patio, it’s clear there’s a dead animal somewhere. Finally, there’s feces in the toilet bowl and was not cleaned when I arrived. It’s disgusting here

Warning! Horrible!

We stay in hotels in Cannes a lot for work, but this was the worst hotel ever. Not only was the hygiene standard clearly neglected here, but also structural and health aspects.
We were very dissatisfied and have the following complaints:
Hotel room: it was pure disgusting. The rooms were dirty, moldy, rusty and the interior was just junk (see pictures)
Breakfast: we were refused despite registering and paying in advance
Service: despite complaining on site, we were not offered any alternatives/solutions
The rooms were paid for in advance and we left after 1 night. We never got the money back. Not even for another stay booked 2 weeks later, which we canceled free of charge. Since then, the hotel has been silent and has not answered any questions, not even those from a lawyer.
Stay away from this hotel! Fraudsters work here who want to get the best out of a very old property.
