Stay clear of this place it's awful

Worst place ever unclean smelly disgusting
Mould all over bath as well as black hairs short one
The room stunk and very old furniture my son cut his finger on the bed side shelves which wer worn
The bed had black hairs in it aswell wich is gross also had to pay adding parking fee

Needs modernisation

Typical service station location. Staff were friendly. The rooms are old and tired, especially the bathrooms. Needs a complete overhaul. The room doors are still opened by a physical key which shows how long ago it was the hotel was last updated. The room next door had the outer door frame missing, presumably because the police have put it in at some point. Despite this the beds were comfortable and it did what I needed it to do.

Desperately needing a refurb...

Sadly this hotel continues to be forgotten and unloved by the Days Inn Group. The staff are lovely; everything else needs overhauling, repairing and refurbing. Holes in the ceiling... bathrooms smelling of damp... filthy carpets... damaged doors... the list is long.

It made me sick i have asthma and the room was full of house mite. A live wire hanging in the bathroom skirting board hanging off,the bin in the bathroom was not emoted my 8 year old boy has autism and put his hands in and emptied it of a tampon rapper and used smelly baby wipes, I complained about it and was given £20 in food vouchers and an apology ,however the dust was everywhere I used about a weeks worth of ventolin over night triggered by house-mite dust so I decided to leave in the morning instead of staying for the 2 days ,and getting a refund but it was a Sunday and the hotel only has a cleaning lady but her English wasn’t very good,no staff on Sunday until 3pm she said,she had no access to the office and couldn’t contact anyone, so I couldn’t get a refund ,

Cheap and basic hotel that is in need of a refurbishment. Arrived later than planned as motoway junction was closed and its not obvious how to get into a motorway service station where this place is when the motorway itself is shut ! Reception guy was friendly and efficient as he could be at midnight. Room was very worn inc dents and marks and wall and stains on chair seat. Ironically they scan a credut card at checkin to cover any damage caused. Bathroom was tatty and worn, but functional. No noise disturbance overnight and noone at reception to discuss how to get the 25% discount at adjoing Costa and McD’s as mentioned in booking
