Bruce and Chelsea made us feel incredibly welcome.

We came here for the first time over a February weekend.
When we arrived, there had been a slight communication issue where the room that had been booked through AirBnB was not as dog friendly as it had originally specified on the website. When speaking to the Area Manager, Bruce, he was so helpful and filled us with reassurance. He showed us to a cosy table with a log fire and told us to have a drink and he would sort the issue immediately.
No longer than 5 minutes later, Bruce returned and explained that it was all sorted and apologised for this being how our stay started.
We went for a walk along the beach, which was a less than 3 minute walk to, and then had some dinner in the pub.
We were recommended the Fish Pie which was delicious.
Our room was clean, comfortable and filled with all the necessities we would need. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like logs! The one thing we did notice was the extractor fan being switched on when the kitchen staff arrived at 7:45 (ish), but that cannot be helped- we understand that our room backed onto the kitchen roof.
Chelsea was really friendly and happy to serve us throughout the evening back at the pub and made us feel incredibly welcome.
We have already decided that when we come back, we will be staying here again.

Our stay was fantastic. The rooms are nicely decorated comfortable and clean
The staff, especially Bruce, Phil and Renata and so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to your stay
The food. The food is actually breathtaking. From its presentation and freshness to its sublime taste.
Wish we could have,stayed there longer.

Fantastic stay, even if it was only one night, I got there a little late, but the host opened the kitchen back for me. The beer was good as so was the open fire and views, room was great again with a sea view!! And comfortable compliment with a great breakfast in the morning, truly this place is a little gem

Lovely spot for lunch

Spent a very pleasant hour at this pub. We called in just for a soup and a roll at lunchtime. Mine host was very accommodating and found us a cosy table in his busy pub. Soup and roll were first class and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Also there was a young woman who started singing, who we could not see, but could hear, with a lovely voice, who apparently came from Ryde and had been booked. Clean toilets, would certainly go there again. On a nice day, lovely place to sit out overlooking the sea.
