Check out the retreats - especially if you're an aspiring writer

I found this guesthouse when looking for a writing retreat. 'A place to write' popped up on google and I am so glad it did.
Nic and Wendy, and their small team are wonderful hosts, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. I will be back.
I booked a tutored writing retreat. It included accommodation and catering, workshops, goalsetting, and time with an author to discuss my work.
I now feel more equipped to work on my creative writing ideas and actually produce something others might want to read and I understand my writing process better.
121 time with an author who was real, realistic, encouraging and super-helpful was invaluable.
On top of that, the welcome, the people, the catering, the laughter, I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough.
I left feeling that I could now call myself a writer. And more than that, I have made good progress with a project that was simply a seed of an idea at the start of the week.

We stayed at Bron Y Graig for just one night during a sports weekend. It’s a beautiful and comfortable guest house with stunning views. We enjoyed chilling out in the bar room playing games and chatting. I adore William Morris print so the decor at Bron Y Graig brought me so much joy! Sadly, we had to leave before breakfast which was such a shame because the smells coming out from the kitchen were delicious!

The finial driving instructions were ready clear to follow and much appreciated. Love view of Corwen, the room was nice with Victorian features as well. The guest room welcome pack had interesting facts about the guest house Bron-y-Graig and the place Corwen along with local dining establishments and local activities. The breakfast was hearty with choices (sourced locally where possible). Our thanks to Wendy and the team.

An excellent guesthouse

A great deal of attention has been given to make this Victorian house as comfortable as possible. Our room was large, with a very comfortable sofa, writing desk and table. A very effective heater warmed the room quickly. Breakfast was excellent. Don't hesitate, just book a break.

this hotel has a victorian feel to it which is what I wanted, comfortable bed, excellent food and service and great location for what I wanted to do namely see various parts of north Wales.
