Excellent city centre value for money hotel

Basic rooms but comfortable and clean. Excellent shower with large bath towels. No in room tea and coffee, which was my only grumble. Good location in centre of city. The two young men who manned the reception desk were exceptional. Welcoming, chatty and very helpful. Two lovely guys. Another good point is if arriving early they will look after your luggage until your room is ready and also when you check out but are going shopping or site seeing they will also hold your luggage all day, at no extra charge. Continental breakfast could not be faulted with a wide variety of cereals, fruits, rolls and croissants, savoury pastries and cold ham, cheese and hard boiled eggs. Constantly topped up, so always looked fresh. Would definitely stay again, perfect for an overnight at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Staff in reception were so friendly and very chatty. Lovely guys ! Fab staff. Good location. Lovely small room we had a rubbish view right enough. Didn’t notice when booking but there isn’t tea making facilities in the rooms and I do like my cups of tea. I would have liked 2 pillows too as there is only one on the bed. Was ok for a night away and was a very good price so would probably stay again.

Ideal for me

Perfect room and price for me. I had to catch a very early train and this made the travel more convenient.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and great location. This was my second time staying here and I'd go back again.

Great hotel, close to really nice bars and restaurants, we had a room with no window but only ih there to sleep so didn't bother us. Would recommend this hotel
