Relaxation holiday with friends

The hotel is quietly located above Bad Aibling. Many possibilities for excursions. e.g. Chiemsee, Tegernsee. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet
in the morning and evening is very rich with great choice. The hotel is clean and has a wellness department. We felt very comfortable.

From a hotel like this I would expect that there is room to park. When they then decide to let out their entire parking area to a camper van company, for them to have a conference, then I would expect th hotel to think just little bit of their other guests. The comment I got was that they do not guarantee parking. Sorry but that is just arrogant.

Disappointing

We will not book here again. Check-in took a very long time, orange water at the reception was almost empty and there were only used glasses! The roses in the foyer have lowered their heads! Our reservation in the restaurant was not deposited, in my cyclist were particles, the food manageable, the view from the room nice, the bathroom renovated, but that was it too! We had the feeling of mass handling and the price was simply too high for that!

Wellness holiday

The staff was very friendly and solution oriented.
Quiet location, bus stop right next to it, great choice at breakfast and dinner,
The dinner was only lukewarm and the fish tasteless.
The ban on mobile phones in the swimming pool was unfortunately not observed.

Hotel Alt but the room newly renovated.

Our apartment was quite newly renovated and the two TVs were also good. In the bedroom, however, this was smaller than in the living room. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The balcony was very large as you can enter this from both rooms.
The sauna area was quite small, unfortunately there were no towels there, so you had to pick them up again in your bathrobe at the reception. The boards in the sauna were rather old and may be renewed. On the first evening we were also unlucky that people with wet swimwear probably used them before, which made it smell dirty and the boards already gave way badly when you wanted to sit down - thought shortly they broke through. Four evenings later, however, it didn't behave like that, which is really amazing - so wet swimwear just has no place in the sauna.
The hotel itself was built in 1987 and you can already tell that it is correspondingly old. The food was also rather average.
We thought for a long time whether we would award three or four stars, but then decided on the four rating because of the room and the staff.
