Nice stay but the breakfast was a let down.
Unfortunately the breakfast was a let down. We ordered a tea and a coffee but got tea for 2. There was not much of a choice of cold stuff. I ordered scrambled eggs and it was way over done. I did enjoy the toast.

Lovely pub/hotel spoilt by poor heating!
The ‘not so good’! No receptionist so reliant on bar/kitchen staff for check in/out. Bar was crowded on arrival and we were ignored until I fought through the throng to get the attention of the bar staff. The room was delightful (Room 2) except it was stone cold with no heating on….. the barman rectified the situation (at 1815) but on returning to the room the heating was off again at 2100! Heating stayed off overnight and had to ring the night manager number to ask for it to be put on in the morning. The bed was a great size but the mattress was hard and bumpy!
