The best part of my trip to China!!!

Stepping into the Linden Center in Xizhou was like stepping into a literal fairytale world of beautiful traditional chinese architecture, luxurious rooms, and simply excellent hospitality. The staff (most of them speak English) is so nice and happy to help make your stay perfect, and our room was always clean and cozy by the end of the day to return to. A special treat was the complimentary fresh fruit and water that was always replenished in the room every day!
Some highlights of my stay included sitting on the private terrace watching clouds roll over the beautiful mountains, spending time in their library picking out a new book, and riding around the countryside on the bikes provided by the Center. The town of Xizhou was an absolute treat to explore as well. I am most certainly coming back to the Linden Center if i’m ever fortunate enough to visit China again!

We had a great stay at the Linden. The building was beautiful, the rooms were very comfortable, and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. They were great about answering questions and giving advice. They offered us a great walking tour of the market and town, and we learned a lot about the two Linden Centre locations. I also really appreciated that when I came back to my room in the evenings the heat and lamps were always on so I had a cozy place to rest right away. A great home base to explore Xizhou, and Dali as long as you don't mind a bit of a didi ride.

We have spent two years to restore this ancient house, and we tried to maintain its original appearance, because we hope that every guest can feel the Chinese culture and history here, it seems that we did it.
