Lovely place in the best location

We are only back from a 7 days stay in Dubrovnik, Nikolinas rooms was the best choice! We had a studio with kitchen and big bathroom. Bed were comfy and the view from a terrace was amazing! Nikolina is super nice and gave us tips about Dubrovnik. Its close to shops, restaurants, 2 supermarkets and street market was only few steps down. We were enjoying Uvala beach in Lapad, it was only 5 mins drive from the house. We didn't have a car but used buses which are just outside the house, number 10 takes you to Cavtat (Mlini and kupari), all other numbers are going to Old Town (ride was Eur1.5). Best location for that price.

Spacious but mediocre

We had a spacious but very dated room. We hit our heads several times on the vaulted ceiling which was very low in the room and the bathroom. Our hosts were nice and helped us with the luggage and the parking. There was a good view from our room (you can see bay, mountains, and houses with red roofs). There are many steps to get to the hotel, and parking is extremely tight.

Great

Stayed there just for a night, but got a hearty welcome nonetheless. Warm water in the shower had a little low pressure, so do not expect to get a warm shower massage there, but definitely fine enough. We got fresh fruit from Mama Jele and when the internet broke they instantly fixed it after we gave notice.
We really liked it there and will definitely stay there again when we are in Dubrovnik.

We felt very much at home

We found a spotlessly clean studio, fully furnished (there were even toothpicks!), with a tremendous view of the port and Babin Kuk, in a house situated in a quiet neighbourhood with lovely small gardens, very close to the market, supermarkets, bakerys, port (ferry) and the main bus station, everything in walking distance, and very good connection to Dubrovniks Old Town. Booking was easy and no credit card needed, But most important of all, we found great hosts, who welcomed us cordially and gave us all the information and help we needed. We felt so good, that we extended our stay from two nights to almost two weeks.

Wonderful holiday and experience at Nicolina Rooms

I was a solo traveler and feel very lucky to have found Nicolina Rooms.
Extremely good value for money as comfortable, quiet, clean and great location and very welcoming hosts!
The apartment has everything you need on your doorstep away from the busy town but still not far from everything.
Being right by the port allows easy access to the islands .
The room has a fridge so you can budget with keeping fresh food.
There are places to eat locally that I would say we're much nicer meals than in the city.
I very much enjoyed my stay and even extended to stay longer.
I recommend ....and for me its 5 stars
