Chalelarn always a good address

The hotel does not offer breakfast, but has beautiful rooms and is more than centrally located to the night market, where excellent seafood is available at reasonable prices. The beds are very comfortable, the shower good and the staff extremely friendly. We went to the 2. Time there for a stopover in Hua Hin (because of the seafood at the night market).
Otherwise, Hua Hin is not really worth it.

Prices went up, maintenance disappeared. AC not working. Noisy!

I stayed for two days after I couldn’t stand the ibis Hua hin and its Omni present filth anymore. This one wasn’t actually any better,just cheaper. Last year I stayed in room 701 which actually was quit okay , this time the whole place was full 100% so it was only room 303. noir from everywhere , even from the adjacent room to which this one had an unfortunate connection door. You can’t sleep at all unless you love noise. Even the three massage parlors on the street could be overheard permanently. The ac didn’t cool at all, imagine this in a hot city like this one. The room wasn’t quite clean, the towels have clearly seen much much better times . The furniture was more than torn and worn. In a normal environment this place would have been closed but in Thailand no one cares. Look at the electrical wirings coming out of the dockets . Unbelievable. This was my definite last time in Hua Hin. I wanted to like it but no. It’s a third world city with first world prices. Avoid if you can. Beaches are gone thanks to high tide for 3 days a week and a beer at 7$ I can get even on the French Riviera…so what’s the point?

Chilled and Relaxed Stay

This is a great hotel for visiting Hua Hin. A lovely pool on the rooftop was great to chill-out. Alleyway adjacent to hotel leads you down to the beach.
7/11 across the road for toasties!
Train station is within walking distance and Night Market and local market are nearby for delicious food at THB60 per plate.
A Grab to Market Village or Cicada Market takes about 7-8 minutes.
Last but not least....the staff here are excellent including An, Sara on reception. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

We had excellent service and a very lovely stay. The front desk helped us out very much with storing our luggage and we really appreciate the kind friendly service provided by all staff. Will see you all again

All the usual stuff is done very well. Only down side was the bath/shower combo didn’t have a shower guard. You could only shower while sitting in the bath, otherwise the water went everywhere. It needs updating a bit but I’m fussy and I have nothing to complain about really. Location is brilliant. Everything nearby. 7/11 across the road. Beach is a few minutes walk. Street food opposite we used every day. About £1.50 a dish. Best food I’ve eaten.
