Excellent hotel for a reasonable price!

I spent a week in Florence in July 2025 as part of my job, and the Nuova Italia hotel was perfect for my needs!
The price, modest, was perfectly within my budget and allowed me to achieve savings without giving up excellent value for money. The location is ideal: five minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and most public transport, and close to major tourist places like the Chapel of Medici, the cathedral, the Duomo. The hotel is close to many restaurants and convenience stores.
The room was very clean, regularly cleaned by friendly and efficient cleaning staff. The room offers all the necessary comfort with simplicity. There was air conditioning, very good point considering the heatwave. The continental breakfast was very good. Special mention to the manager and receptionists, always very kind and friendly!

Bela Florença

Hotel Nueva Italia is very well located.
From here, you can get in 5/10 minutes to various tourist attractions and Santa Maria Novella train station.
The hotel has no elevator and the stairs are steep, for those who need to get to the 3rd floor, loaded with travel bags.
Overall, everything was seated and pleasant.
The check-out is done until 10:00, which for me is a point to improve, as it forces the guest to rush on the day of departure.

HOTEL A FLORENCE

We had booked directly on the hotel website a room, 6 months in advance thinking we had a fair price (but still quite high considering the hotel's standing!) What was not our surprise when we noticed on the day of our arrival that there remained a room 30% cheaper on a comparative site. Arriving at the hotel, we ask for a readjustment of the price but the receptionist remains impassive. However, after several minutes of negotiation, we managed to get 5€ discount and a larger room! What a great deal! Very disappointed by this unprofessional attitude. We wish to return to Florence soon but need not specify that we will not stay again in this hotel!

WELCOMING ATTENTION

It was very positive. We stayed in a quadruple room which turned out to be comfortable and well equipped. The room overlooked a pedestrian lined with restaurants, which offered a lively, if rather bustling atmosphere at night. The location is excellent as it is close to the main tourist spots. Breakfast was truly outstanding, with a wide variety of options allowing us to start the day energetically. Overall, the value for money is good. I recommend this hotel to those looking for a comfortable and well located stay in the city. Cozy attention.

Staff were fabulous, nice surprise breakfast was included, pastries, bread, yoghurt, fruit, cereals and a lady there to make fresh coffee which was a bonus. Perfect location few mins walk from train station but far enough to not feel like you're near a train station. So many dining options, markets few mins walk away with a fabulous food hall. I read and read reviews and worry when booking based on reviews, but i was very happy, id stay again and would recommend to my family.
