We booked at the last minute....arrived late at night. Christine came out to meet us and showed us to our room Most graciously. The units can best be described as rustic and compact. At first we were a bit concerned, however, that all was changed after a quiet night's sleep and the sumptuous breakfast prepared (to our requests) the next morning by our host. Christine is a delight. A MOST kind and considerate host. As a host myself with Air B&B, I know what it requires to provide the best experience for guests. Christine is all of that and more!!!! If you are looking for five star accommodations....this may not be the place for you. But, if you are seeking an authentic and personal experience I cannot recommend Bed and Breakfast STC more highly. Thank you sooooo much Christine.

Beautiful place & wonderful host

Firstly, this is a rural & isolated location...which I thought was perfect. If you want to get around, a car is advisable - although we found Christine very helpful with a lift into Udorn Thani (250 baht) and also for a sunrise trip to the Red Lotus Lake (1250 baht & worth doing).
Christine cooks to order from her menu, so if you request 'no spicy'...that's what you get. The menu includes Thai & European options and a very impressive selection of Belgium beer (along with other drink options!)
The pool is very nice and about 400 m along the road at a neighbours house & is very nice.
We mostly went for walks locally, plenty of good wildlife to see.

Good Hospitality, Yummy Food, Beers & Countryside

The warm hospitality and yummy home cooked food is what makes a stay at STC so special.
Christine is the co-owner who picked us up from the airport and prepared all our meals. We also got to meet her friendly dog, CB.
We stayed in the wooden cabin, which comes with a balcony to chill. The other two rooms (having only seen the interior of one but not stayed there) looks absolutely fine too. Christine also has lots of beer to choose from during meals.
There are two local convenience stores to the left of the property where you can purchase some basic necessities and drinks.
There is also a swimming pool in one of the neighbour’s property - you just need to let Christine know and she will arrange for you to use.
Nearby, there is a lovely lake where you can walk to for a lovely sunset.
I will recommend hiring your own vehicle if you can - especially if you plan on visiting sites far away from the town centre. However, if you have no vehicle, you can ask Christine for suggestions regarding your transport needs.
But if you are only planning to travel between the airport and the town centre, you probably can get by with a taxi or the transport app Grab (the property is about 20 min drive from the airport and 30-35 min from the town).
Be ready for mosquitoes, bugs, big ants, barking dogs etc. This is the countryside, but don’t let these deter you from enjoying a really warm reception at STC.
Strongly recommended if you like friendly host, good home cooked food and nature at reasonable prices.

BEST TRAVEL MEMORIES

As usual I visit STC again it is my special place to be. Sureenat like very kind like always and take attention for cooking delicious meals so as Thai food and Euopean food all just very tasty. Rooms are spacious and have all the comfort one can desire.

once more CONGRATS

once again I staid at STC, no regrets. Sureenat like always very kind and took care fruit upon arrival.
Dinner Sureenat prepaired Thai delicious fishes. My room was big and very nice bedding the best I ever had in Thailand. Kettle for making coffee and the in the room. Nice sitting corner to enjoy some Belgian beers.
I will come back to this little paradise. THANKS STC
