They made us sit on the terrace, under a beautiful summer sun
Unfortunately the weather did not assist us and we had to finish inside
But this did not worry us, we are only sorry to have created discomfort to the structure

Highly recommended
The breakfast is extensive, I even got a little Easter surprise.
I can only recommend the pizza.
I had a room with a view of the valley.
It is in a quiet location and is ideal for hiking.

See conclusion
- contact for direct booking was easy and quick,
- the single room I booked faced the mountain side (no view of the Landwasser Valley, but a view of the Valbellahorn) and remained pleasantly cool during the day, was simple but nice and clean; the bed was also comfortable and not saggy,
- breakfast was simple but completely sufficient for preparing for a hiking tour,
- it was wonderfully quiet at night and you could sleep very well,
- the location of the hotel is great, from the restaurant terrace you have a wonderful view of the opposite side of the mountain, e.g. Jenisberg, and many peaks,
- you can start hiking directly from the hotel, there are several routes available - but you should be fit for this (if you are not planning on using a car/driving),
- I had booked dinner, which was also simple but tasted good (plus: no frills) - the small team of operators also clearly made an effort and were always very friendly.
Criticism:
- the TV was not usable, I think that could have been made clear before booking
Conclusion:
A good price-performance ratio (especially by Swiss standards) and a good choice for hiking enthusiasts who don't need any frills, but rather the natural friendliness of the operators and a top starting point for hiking around Wiesen.

Nice quite location with friendly staff
Staff is very freindly - from the woman who’s tales care of the repetion to the italien chef in the kitchen. We booked a room with a balcony and it was great to enjoy the fresh air and the sundown from the balcony , before going to the on- site italian restaurant.
The room was perfect and clean and absolutely with no noise from the street/village.
Parking space is limited and we did have some challenges the first day but it was resolved later.
Will definitely return again.
