Ideal for a short break for a solo traveller, budget friendly. Located centrally in city, so not too far to walk to attractions. Friendly owners who made me welcome.

It’s an ok hotel. Staff very kind and the location is great but the hotel itself is super outdated. Cleaning is ok, there’s no soap or towels (had to go to the reception and ask for them). Fine for a one night stay.

How a mishap ends super well thanks to the Roma hotel!

We arrived by chance at the Roma hotel, our booking in another hotel nearby having cancelled by the platform or the hotelier! There were 10 of us! Great welcome, the hotel is clean, well heated (in January, we appreciate), there is hot water, the bedding is comfortable and the staff is very nice with a mention +++ for the gentleman of the reception who is very pro and very welcoming! A little more, the hotel is ideally placed and has a very good value for money! In short, we hold for a next trip, and we strongly advise.... if we had to make a comment it would be on the breakfasts that could be improved.
Thank you again for your perfect welcome in this moment of stress!

Located close to the medina, this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for.
My room was warm and the bed was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. The hot water took a few minutes to come on but was ok. My toilet seat was broken and had come off the hinges.
The breakfast is basic - some bread, jam, a boiled egg, a yoghurt and small brownie (with a tea of coffee) but it's enough.
Unfortunately when I checked in no-one told me that there is a curfew at midnight and you are locked out. I came back from a bar at 1am and then found myself locked out, and no-one answering the emergency WhatsApp number. Thankfully my friend was able to call the number (I had wifi but no phone credit) and wake someone up to let me in. It wasn't his fault, no-one told me about it when I checked in.
The lady who works at reception was friendly and this is a good option if you want somewhere relatively cheap and near the medina.
